Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms apply when you use PassPraise (“we”, “us”), a service that helps UK driving instructors send Google review requests to pupils who have passed their test. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use PassPraise. Questions go to hello@passpraise.co.uk.

Who can use PassPraise

PassPraise is aimed at UK driving instructors. You must be at least 18, able to form a binding contract, and provide accurate information when setting up your account, including a genuine Google review link that's actually yours.

Signing in

We use passwordless, one-tap “magic link” sign-in sent to your email — there's no password to manage. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since anyone with access to it can sign in to your PassPraise account.

Your trial and subscription

• New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access to PassPraise.
• After the trial, continuing to use PassPraise costs £9/month, billed via Stripe.
• You can cancel any time from the billing portal in Settings — your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• We don't offer refunds for part of a billing month you've already been charged for.
• We may change our pricing; if we do, we'll give you reasonable notice before it applies to your next billing period.

Using PassPraise fairly

When you use PassPraise, you agree to:

• Only add people who are genuinely your pupils and who you have a legitimate reason to email.
• Send a review request to every pupil you mark as passed, not a filtered selection — PassPraise doesn't support gating or cherry-picking who gets asked, and neither should you. This keeps review requests compliant with Google's policies.
• Keep the opt-out line in review-request emails intact, and honour any pupil who asks to stop being contacted.
• Not use PassPraise to send anything other than genuine review requests to your own pupils.
• Not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly around review gating or misuse of pupil data.

Your content

You're responsible for the accuracy of the Google review link and message template you set up, and for the pupil details you add. We send emails on your behalf using what you've entered — we don't check or edit it before it goes out.

Service availability

We aim to keep PassPraise available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — the service depends on third parties (Supabase, Resend, Stripe) that are outside our control, and we may occasionally need to take the service down for maintenance.

Liability

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or acting negligently, but we're not liable for any loss that isn't foreseeable, or for indirect losses such as lost bookings or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can cancel your subscription and stop using PassPraise at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, or if payment fails and isn't resolved. When an account closes, we handle your data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and flag it in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
